Everyone’s favourite Danish pop band Alphabeat return with their first album in six years Don’t Know What’s Cool Anymore on 1/11/19. The title track was our Song Of The Month for September and we were at their London comeback gig this summer. Latest UK single Shadows has been playlisted by Radio 2, was on Graham Norton  and the band play UK dates in April. Tickets

We love a good pantomime and so does Greenwich Theatre panto author/dame Andrew Pollard whose Sleeping Beauty runs here 22/11 through 12/1/20. It’s the venue’s 50th birthday, so expect some time travelling back to 1969 to celebrate. Previous productions have included Robinson Crusoe, Cinderella, Peter Pan and Little Red Riding Hood. Tickets

6. Marina brings Love + Fear to London

We shortlisted Marina’s Love + Fear album as one of the best of 2019 so far and she plays London’s Eventim Apollo this month on her current tour. We last saw her at London’s iconic Palladium in 2015 and here’s what went down at a London Q&A with her this year ahead of the album release.. Tickets

They follow the final of the Second Cherry competition organised by the ‘almost a Eurovision podcast’ of the same name. We’re big fans of the podcast which highlights some of the best songs from the finals of the Eurovision season. Tickets

8. The Crown series 3 airs

We were at a BFI Q&A earlier this year with Josh O’Connor (God’s Own Country) who talked about his role as a young Prince Charles in the third season of this beloved Netflix series which now stars Oscar-winning Olivia Colman. Airs from 17/11/19.

9. Bananarama release live album

We saw Bananarama at Omeara in London for an unusual gig earlier this year and this month they release live album Live In Stereo as a memento of that tour. Tickets
