2. Guilty at the Donmar starring Russell Tovey
Tovey (Constellations, Vaudeville Theatre) stars as a troubled police oficer on a night shift who takes a 999 call in this thriller at the Donmar Warehouse. Runs 20 June through 15 August 2026. Tickets
3. Midsummer Night’s Dream outdoors featuring Maimuna Memon songs
Memon has composed folk-infused melodies to be performed at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in this version of the Shakespeare classic which runs 20 June through 18 July 2026. Tickets
4. Sam Ryder in Jesus Christ Superstar
Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder (Sala Apolo, Barcelona) plays Jesus in this production at the London Palladium which boasts rotating Herods including Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Here We Are, National Theatre), Simon Russell Beale (John Gabriel Borkman, Bridge Theatre), Boy George (Eurovision 2026) and Julian Clary (Palladium pantomimes). 5. An all-female Glengarry Glen Ross
Rosa Salazar (High Noon, Harold Pinter Theatre) and Indira Varma (Oedipus, Old Vic) headline an all-woman cast at the Old Vic in this production of the David Mamet classic directed by Patrick Marber (The Producers, Garrick Theatre). Runs 4 June through 26 July 2026. Tickets
6. Sinatra The Musical starring Joel Harper-Jackson
We’re excited for this new musical based on the life and career of this legend containing 20 of his hits because of the casting of Harper-Jackson (Daniel’s Husband, Marylebone Theatre) in the lead role. Cast includes Jenna Russell (The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry, Theatre Royal Haymarket) as Dolly Sinatra and Adam Davidson (Brigadoon, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) as Gene Kelly. 7. Hot Mess returns to the Other Palace
Hot Mess was beaten by The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button to our Best New Musical 2025 monsta. We said of its Southwark Playhouse run: ‘This scorching, thought-provoking 2-handed musical imagines a love story between Earth and humanity against a backdrop of worsening climate change. Hot Mess is well worth your time and we’d definitely recommend catching it on this short run and wouldn’t be at all surprised if it scorches its way to the West End next.’ It cleans up at the Other Palace 13 June through 6 September 2026.
