This year’s Melodifestivalen is all set for an exciting conclusion because there is no clear winner and perhaps 4 strong songs – including 1 we think is a potential Eurovision winner – in contention.

Last week Robin Bengtsson went direkt till finalen but we predicted little else right with the 3 eliminated acts all having MF history and the newcomers doing well at their expense.

Lundvik (pictured above) is the 2nd of 3 returning former winners to this year’s 60th Melodifestivalen but we wonder whether the 1st trans contestant in its history, Tone Sekelius, closing this heat (read further down this article) might steal the pre-show headlines?

Melodifestivalen got off to a joyous start last weekend with Wiktoria’s glorious rain-soaked ballad Not With Me becoming our early favourite but what do we think of Heat 2’s snippets (listen and watch below)?
The song we wanted to win the Melodifestivalen final last year was the old-school Rihanna bop My Cabana sung by Margaret (pictured) who appears again in this 2nd heat from Malmö on 9 February where she closes the show.
