There are 2 returning winners to the 66th Melodifestivalen this year and the 1st is Robin Bengtsson who won MF in 2017 finishing 5th in Kyiv, Ukraine with I Can’t Go On.

  • Read on for reasons including more detail about this show’s 6 acts

He returned to MF in 2020 with Take A Chance finishing 8th. He was 11th 2 years later with Innocent Love.

Robin Bengtsson  Honey, Honey (Gavin Jones, Pär Westerlund, Petter Tarland, Robin Bengtsson)

Before winning Bengtsson placed 5th in 2016 with Constellation Prize. Bengtsson has made the final in each of his previous 4 appearances but diminishing returns suggest he may be lucky to do so this year.

Arwin Glitter (Arwin Ismail, Axel Schylström, Dino Medanhodzic, Melanie Wehbe, Robert Skowronski)

Arwin Saman Ismail Osman is a Swedish actor/singer who competed last year with This Dream Of Mine missing out in the Andra Chanson.

Brandsta City Släckers Rakt in i elden (Straight into the fire) (Anderz Wrethov, Elin Wrethov, Kristofer Strandberg, Robert Skowronski)

These singing firemen finished 5th in 2002 with Kom och ta mig (Come and get me) and missed out in the Andra Chanson a year later with 15 minuter. This year’s entry title feels a little on the nose.

Klara Almström Där hela världen väntar (Where the whole world is waiting) (Fredrik Sonefors, Jimmy Jansson, Klara Almström)

The 21-year-old is currently studying at Rytmus Musikgymnasium, Klara balances her education with a burgeoning music career.

Felicia My System (Audun Agnar Guldbrandsen, Emily Harbakk, Felicia Eriksson, Julie Bergan, Theresa Rex)

Felicia is the former Fröken Snusk, who performed in a balaclava and competed with Unga & fria (Young & Free) in 2024, where she just missed out in the Andra Chanson.

Laila Adèle Oxygen (Jonas Thander, Laila Adèle, Marcus Winther-John)

Said to have 1 of Sweden’s most powerful voices she released her debut album in 2001. She most often treads the boards and was last seen in musical Dreamgirls in Stockholm. She competed in 2006 with Don’t Try To Stop Me going out in her heat.
