Little Boots has released what is probably already our favourite album of the year so far and here teams up once again with a drag queen who is making a name for herself thanks to some brilliant pop collaborations.

I Specialise In Love is a duet between the 2 and an almighty pop banger that could well be the song of this summer.

It was a song that was unfamiliar to us until this disco house release but is a cover of a Sharon Brown track from the 80s.

Boots co-wrote Kofi’s debut single Outside In and her follow up with Cahill, the magnificent Look What You’ve Done, was a song of the week for us last year.

Saturday’s Mighty Hoopla show in Brockwell Park, south London, made our reasons why we can’t wait for June list principally for the appearance of Agnes which is now in doubt. But we can’t wait to see Tia Kofi X Little Boots at 6.30pm alongside acts including Sugababes and Jessie Ware.

If this mighty pop pairing is anything to judge by, it should be quite the show.

We’re already looking forward to seeing Little Boots at Southsea’s Victorious Festival this August and Kofi’s already proved her live skills this year on the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 2 tour at the Palladium.

South London is very much Tia Kofi’s stomping ground and we can’t wait to pop our Mighty Hoopla cherry there.
