- What Seann does next
We’ve already given you five reasons why we’re backing Seann Miley Moore to win this year’s X Factor and Judges Houses’ audition This Woman’s Work was number six. We can’ t remember a Kate Bush song appearing on such a show before and so someone is smiling on Seann. The first live show is the big one – the chance for each turn to define themselves with one song. Does Seann go Lady Gaga?
2. Little Mix perform Love Me Like You
Check out Sunday’s results show for the first live UK TV performance of one of the most underrated singles of the year. Third album Get Weird is out 6/11and this is the ‘little muffins’ first X Factor appearance since they nailed Move in 2013.
3. Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw debut on the judging panel
We’d give a double thumbs aloft to the additions to this year’s judging panel. Both chose well at live Judges’ Houses and this is our first live opportunity to see how much Louis Walsh (remember him?) and Scary Spice will be missed.
4. Will Olly and Flackers do a Dermot dance?
Our Saturday nights only really began when former host Dermot O’Leary did a themed dance to introduce that week’s show. We loved Olly and Flackers on The Xtra Factor but thought they seemed a little stiff on last week’s live Judges’ Houses. Would a Dermot dance loosen them up, particularly given Flackers’ Strictly success last season?
5. The other contestants
We still want Seann to win but love 4th Impact, Louisa Johnson (although she really needs something to make her more interesting) and bad/boo boy Mason Noise. Given this is a shorter series than usual, there’s probably two acts going this week. Our money’s on Reggie n Bollie and Alien Uncovered/Max Stone. And if there’s wild cards, can we have Jennifer and Monica back please?
UPDATE: Monica returns on Saturday’s live show
