- James Graham’s Punch at the Young Vic
Author Graham (Boys From The Blackstuff, National Theatre) is enjoying a prolific run of theatre and TV writing including Brian And Maggie most recently on Channel 4. This transfers from Nottingham Playhouse and is based on a book by Jacob Dunne about an impulsive punch that leads to fatal consequences at the Young Vic. Runs 1 March through 26 April 2025. 2. Lady Gaga’s Mayhem album
The 2 singles so far from this collection – Disease and Abracadabra – appear to be an attempt to remind of her imperial phase around Bad Romance ahead of an anticipated world tour, greatest hits album and then break from music. Mayhem is Gaga’s 7th album proper and is released 7 March. Mother Monster’s not been this musically thrilling for years. Abracadabra will be our song of the month for March. Tickets Our review
3. Loreen live in Barcelona and London
Loreen is the only woman to have won Eurovision twice – most recently with Tattoo in Liverpool in 2023 – and we see her twice this month on a European tour that includes a London gig at the prestigious Eventim Apollo Hammersmith. 4. Welly’s Big In The Suburbs debut
Welly won our Best Gig monsta last year for their biggest London show thus far at The MOTH Club and on 21 March 2025 the Southampton/Brighton 5-piece release their debut album named after a recent single which was a song of the week for us. 5. Charlie Stemp in Dracula, A Comedy Of Terrors
Bram Stoker’s horror classic is given a comic makeover in this gender-bending reimagining that features a Gen Z pansexual Count Dracula in the midst of an existential crisis. Promises to embody the spirit of RuPaul, Mel Brooks and Monty Python starring Charlie Stemp who won our Best Theatre Actor monsta for Crazy For You (Gillian Lynne Theatre). Runs 10 March through 3 May 25 at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Tickets
6. Why Am I So Single? cast recording released with Patti LuPone

Single? won our Best New Musical and Best Performance Of A Song monstas in 2024 during its 5-month run at London’s Garrick Theatre during which we saw it 4 times. Cast recording is released 14 March 2025 and includes a surprise appearance by musical theatre legend Patti LuPone on track Meet Market. Our review
7. Melodifestivalen winners Marcus and Martinus live
Norwegian twins M&M won MF last year and finished 9th for Sweden in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest. They also released their 4th album with the same title as the MF winner – Unforgettable – and tour Europe this spring and summer including a sold out gig at London’s 02 Academy Islington. 8. Musical Cry-Baby at the Arcola

Based on the 1990 John Waters (BFI Q&A) film starring Johnny Depp. It’s 1954. Everyone likes Ike, nobody likes communism and Wade ‘Cry-Baby’ Walker is the coolest boy in Baltimore. He’s a bad boy with a good cause – truth, justice and the pursuit of rock and roll. Runs 6 March through 12 April at the Arcola Theatre. Tickets
