- It’s Siobhan’s 1st Nana tour
We were there at the old Wembley Arena for the first Bananarama World Tour in 1989 but founder member Siobhan Fahey took no part in the 40-plus gigs. See her for the first time on tour with the band this winter.

2. They’ve still got it
Fast forward 28 years from that first World Tour and the original line up’s still got it.
3. It’s George Michael’s fault
We’ve written at length about the importance of fans letting their idols know how much they mean to them and perhaps it’s little surprise that it took a shock celebrity death for the better half of one of Wham!’s Young Guns to realise that perhaps they owed their fans a debt.
4. Cruel Summer while we wait for this
They’re already been tantalising us with potential setlists which don’t include that many Keren/Sarah songs we’ve seen so many times as we’ve bayed for Shuv’s return.
5. Love In The First Degree
Live long enough and it’s a pleasure/hearbreak to see the world change. We’ve had Trump, Brexit and gay marriage in recent years but this performance sent shivers through pop that paved the way for so much more that was glorious and meant the world would never be the same.
Hope they come to Dublin again
