SONG OF THE MONTH: Dopamine by Robyn (November 2025)

WORTH A LOOK? ****

Robyn’s 1st new music for 7 years breaks no new ground but serves instead as a reminder of why we fell in love with her brand of electronica served with her trademark glacial vocals.

  • Read on for reasons including how we hope Dopamine triggers a new album release

Dopamine is so effortlessly up and effervescent it can sit easily with Robyn’s best work including UK charttopper With Every Heartbeat and Swedish number 1 Dancing On My Own.

We saw Robyn a lot at gigs in London around her imperial phase 15 years ago, later at Alexandra Palace in 2019 and even, surprisingly, for a Charli XCX collab at The 02 about a year ago.

Robyn says: ‘I’ve been working on this song for almost a decade and it feels so good to release it today. How great to have a body, how great to have a brain, how great to be alive.’

It’s a sentiment that the new mother explores beautifully in the video above and we can’t wait for Dopamine‘s parent album to be with us as soon as possible.
