Disease is co-written with her fiance Michael Polansky and combines an ear for arguably her catchiest charttopper – Bad Romance – with a grungier feel that is more in keeping with the brat summer sounds that dominated 2024.

Lyrically it’s inspired by Gaga facing her own fears and inner darkness and treads similar ground to a recent single called The Cure about a lover’s potential to heal.

Disease was a worldwide hit although not as big as her Bruno Marrs duet Die With A Smile which we’re not expecting to appear on that imminent Gaga album.

2024 was a mixture of highs and lows for Gaga with her acclaimed appearance in the new Joker film although it was arguably 1 of the flops of the year.

2025 sees her headline Coachella and we’d love to see her do the same at Glastonbury, appear in Netflix’s season 2 of Wednesday and we’re expecting her to bring it to a close with a Legacy world tour and greatest hits album.
